Jimmy Rowles: Lullaby of the Leaves

In addition to playing in the bands of a whos who of jazz, pianist Jimmy Rowles served as accompanist for such singers as Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, June Christy, Anita ODay, Peggy Lee, and Mel Tormé. Rowles was known for great sensitivity and harmonic sophistication as well as for a comfortable sense of swing.
